Одоогоор “Эрдэнэс Монгол”, “Эрдэнэс Тавантолгой” ХК, Засгийн газрын төлөөлөл багтсан 40 орчим хүний бүрэлдэхүүнтэй ажлын хэсэг Тавантолгойн ордын ТЭЗҮ-ийг шинэчлэх, нөөцийн нэгдсэн тайланг шинэчлэх, баяжуулах үйлдвэр, усан хангамж, авто зам, төмөр зам зэрэг дагалдах төслүүдийг бэлтгэж байгаа юм байна. 2010 онд хийсэн үнэлгээгээр Тавантолгойн бүлэг ордыг 5.7 тэрбум ам.доллараар үнэлж байсан юм. Нийт ордын нөөцийг 7.4 тэрбум тонн нүүрс гэж үзсэн бөгөөд үүнээс 5.1 тэрбум тонн нь коксжих нүүрс гэсэн үнэлгээ гарсан байна.
